The Interactivity Demonstrations track at BCS HCI allows you to present your hands-on demonstration, share novel interactive technologies, and stage interactive experiences.
Submissions from any area of human computer interaction, including games, entertainment, digital and interactive art, and design.
Demonstrations can range from low- fidelity prototypes to finished products.
Interactivity Demonstrations should promote and provoke discussion, debate and surprise.
Key Dates
- Submission of a paper for the proceedings, plus a description of the demonstration: 10 July 2023 [extended] (23:59, anywhere on earth)
- Notification of acceptance: 24 July 2023
- Camera ready copy: 7 August (23:59, anywhere on earth)
Submission and Publication Summary
- Reviewing process: Peer-reviewed
- Anonymous submission: Yes. Please read about the Anonymity Policy
- Length: 5 pages including references in eWiC format for the paper for the proceedings; one A4 page describing the demonstration in a clear sans serif font, 11pt, single spaced. Illustrations welcome (in both the paper for the proceedings and the description of the demonstration).
Author guidelines
Papers should be formatted using the eWiC format. Authors should consult the eWiC
- Authors’ guidelines and use their templates, eith for LaTeX or for Word, to prepare their papers.
- Accepted interactivity demonstrations will have an area at the conference to present their demonstration and will be published in the eWiC collection.
